Memorial Health LCHC clinics officially broke ground October 22 on a new medical complex in Elgin, marking an important milestone to expand healthcare access for Elgin residents of the surrounding communities.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together representatives from Memorial Health, LCHC, the City of Elgin, Elgin Economic Development Authority, BOLDT construction, and community leadership to celebrate the project and recognize the partnerships bringing the facility to life.
Located at 909 Commercial Loop, the approximately 11,000-square-foot facility will bring a range of healthcare services closer to home, making it more convenient for area residents to access essential medical care. The new complex will provide urgent care, laboratory, infusion, behavioral health, imaging, and pharmacy services.
“We are excited to take this next step toward bringing expanded healthcare services to Elgin and the surrounding communities,” said Sean McAvoy, Executive Director, LCHC clinics. “This facility represents an investment in the health and well-being of the community, and we look forward to serving area residents in the years ahead.”
