Cardiologist Jagjit Khosla, MD recently achieved an outstanding clinical outcome by successfully treating a patient with a chronic total occlusion (CTO) of the superficial femoral artery (SFA), restoring blood flow where there previously was none.
The case also marked an important milestone for Medtronic, as Dr. Khosla became the first physician to use the DCB XL radial balloon.
